A letter from Tiny......
I am a Chihuahua called Tiny and I have just had a wonderful holiday at
Klipheuwel Kennels. I must tell you about it!
Because it was winter, the kennel was heated and I slept in my own basket.
I am a senior dog and even spent a few evenings watching TV with Sheila and
Jean! The food was lovely - they gave me small bites with minced viennas sprinkled
over them.
During the day I had a good run in the exercise playground. The Kennel Master
and owners were wonderful and knew just how much I enjoyed being scratched
behind my ears! I grew so fond of them that, when mummy came to fetch me,
I just had to run back and kiss them goodbye!
Oh! Yes! There is a separate block of kennels, near our small dog kennels,
for large dogs, who have their own exercise runs.
Sheila has been busy taking stiches out, testing Diabetic dog’s wee and
giving medications out - she is a registered Nursing Sister.
There is a heated cattery too with indoor sleeping cages and a large covered
stoep in which to play and sun bathe! See the cats purring and rubbing
themselves against the Kennel Master and owners.
As it is a farm they grow tomatoes in a large plastic tunnel, ducks for
roasting, genuine free range eggs and they also grow wheat.
Yip! Yip! Bye, bye! My supper is coming!
Lots of woofs and waggy tails.
From
Tiny
